University of Bremen

German as a foreign language for students on Exchange Programmes and on International Courses

The University of Bremen offers 4 units of teaching (4 SWS) combined with 2 SWS of independent study per week for free to help you learn German.

You can also attend German language courses to prepare for one of the internationally recognised certificates of the Goethe-Institute or to prepare for the university entrance examination, TestDaf. You will, however, have to pay for these courses yourself.

You can find more information on the fees payable in the Entgeltordnung (Regulation on course fees) of the FZHB, at Goethe-Institut and at  International Office University of Bremen.
