DAAD language certificate

New language certificate as of July 2015

The DAAD language certificate now has a new format. The DAAD will no longer accept the old format. The new certificate must clearly state which type of scholarship application it is being used for (semester or internship or research stay abroad). The form is not intended to be used for any other purpose.

The language competence of the applicant is now assessed by means of a 5-star system, whereby 5 stars is equivalent to CEFR level C1.

You can download the new DAAD language certificate here.

Please complete the first page yourself and bring the certificate with you to the test.
